Sunrise Outreach Center believes in community mobilization. The balance of our work is accomplished with volunteers and partnerships programs.
On almost any given day you can find between ten and fifteen volunteers throughout Yakima County working in various Sunrise Outreach programs.

Group Volunteer Projects
If you have a group of persons who would like to take on a day long or afternoon long project on a one-time basis, there are lots of opportunities to support Sunrise Outreach programs in this way. Some examples:
- organize a solicitation drive for food for our five food pantries
- paint existing buildings
- perform maintenance on facilities – skilled help welcome
- organize donation rooms
- clean and mend donated clothing
- and more!
If employees in your business or members of your community organization would like to volunteer for a project day, please contact us.
