Art Expressions

Art Expressions

Art Expressions is the newest program of Sunrise Outreach Center that reveals the world of art to children and provides a positive developmental outlet for expression. By learning about artists, practicing techniques, and creating projects, children discover hidden talents, build self-esteem, and experience a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Introducing Christin Garcia…

Art Expressions Program Coordinator, mother, former Pre-K teacher, and all-around art guru specializing in unique art forms like acrylic pour painting and up-cycling sculptures. Christin has a heart for children who are struggling in school or life, to help them find their self-worth, confidence and identity. Christin piloted an art camp this summer 2018 to introduce 60 local students to the world of art and create amazing projects using techniques from artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, and more. Students ended the camp with an art show open to the public. See photos below!
